Clubhouse Golf Academy

“Studio D took my idea for a new brand and transformed it beyond my wildest imagination. I couldn’t be more pleased with what they’ve helped Clubhouse Academy accomplish.”

-Mitch Bach, Founder

Mission

Clubhouse Golf Academy came to us for creative direction and strategy in designing a full media stack for their brand launch. Our strategy was simple: show their passion, and create content that connects them with their audience. Here is how we did it.

The main asset of this media stack is the campaign video below. Mitch loves golf. It’s why he created Clubhouse Golf Academy. This film is Mitch’s story. It’s a story of what the game of golf meant to his life, which translated into why he became a golf pro and started teaching lessons. We didn’t want the film to feel one-sided and knew we had to include a relatable story of a real client. That’s why Mitch asked Sarah, one of his clients, to share her story.

The final film allows the viewer to see how passionate Mitch is as a teacher, as well as what it could be like being part of the Clubhouse. In the film, we posed the question to Sarah, “Why do you golf?” and in doing so, are asking the audience the same question. Sarah’s story is authentic and allows the audience to put themselves in her shoes. To wrap it all up, we invite the audience to be like Sarah; we invite the audience to get started.

To say Mitch was thrilled with the final results is an understatement.

Short Film

Our work with Mitch wasn’t over. Handing over a short film by itself doesn’t get results. We needed to create the full media stack. What is that? I’m glad you asked. Our goal was to deliver engaging, beautiful content to build out their complete online presence. This included social media content to promote the classes and direct people to sign up on the website. We produced short format, vertical content that was designed to grab the attention of the viewer and pique their interest in learning more about the golf lessons.
